Q1: Who are the best people to talk to in this school about my child’s difficulties with learning/Special Educational Needs or disability (SEND)?

Our school has a SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITY coordinator; we usually call her the SENDCo, her name is Mrs Hill

The best way to contact our SENDCo is through calling the school office on 0121 464 8659 select option 4 for direct line and leave your details for her to call you back. Alternatively you could contact her on the following email address s.hill@forestdale.bham.sch.uk

 

The best time to contact our SENDCo is on a Thursday and a Friday although she can be available on other days.

We also have a Learning Mentor, Mrs Halpin, who is also our Parent Support Worker. She works closely with the children to support them where necessary. She can be contacted on 0121 464 8659 option 3 or is out on the gate at 8.40 and 3.15 daily.
