Lesson 1 - LI: To identify parts of a computer (recap)
In this lesson we will be looking at computers and what how they are made up. This will help us to understand the function of each part.
Computers have lots of different parts and each has a special job.
Some will be inside the computer and others will be outside. Some parts are attached by wires and others are wireless.
The parts that make up a computer are called ‘hardware’. Programs which tell a computer what to do are called ‘software’. The hardware needs the software to tell it what to do.
Go to this website below named 'BBC Computing: What are the main parts of a computer?'
Complete the section where you must click on the pictures to find out what each part is and what they do.
Then play the game 'Go Kart Grab'. Have fun!
