History  - LI: To explore what life would have been like living in a Celtic roundhouse.

On the sheet in your pack, make notes about Celtic round houses. I have added an information page for you to highlight some information – you can also use the internet to research too.

• Think about what it looked like and what is was   made from.
• Think about how it was set up – rooms, layout, sections
• Think about how people live in them – where did they sleep? Where did they cook?

We are starting a new science topic bases on forces and magnets.

In your pack there is a mind map – I would like you to write down anything that you already know about forces and magnets.

• Think about different types of forces.
• What materials are attracted to a magnet?

Task

Complete the pushing and pulling forces sheet.  Think about if it is a push force or a pull force.

Art -  LI: To use shade to add tone

In your pack there are some shading sheets -  today, we will be looking at cross hatching.

Task

You need to use tone to make an object appear 3D.

Geography – LI: To use simple sketch maps to show how land is used.

On the PowerPoint there is a map drawn by Ada – what can you see on the map? Can you see the park? Can you spot the bowling alley? What kinds of buildings does Ada identify?

Task

Using the Sketch Map Activity Sheet, please draw a simple sketch map of a short familiar journey, for example, your journey to school.
