This weeks work is all based on superheroes.

 

Lesson 1  - Listen to the audio version our superheroes text. 

Look at the vocabulary challenge on Page 5 and 6 of your booklet. 

Talk to someone at home about what each of the words might move. 

 

When you have predicted what they might mean. Read the descriptions and match the correct word to the description. 

Lesson 2 

Reread the story and think about what you like and don't like about the story and what questions would you like to ask about the story.

Share your ideas with someone at home. Remember to share your ideas in full sentences and when you write remember a full stop and capital letters.

Lesson 3 

Reading challenge, Re read the story if you need to. 

Answer the questions using full sentences. 

Lesson 4 

Write a superhero name for yourself.

Using your name and an adjective, make yourself a superhero name. 

What superpowers will you have? 

What will you be good at?

Superheros have individual symbols.

Can you recognise the symbols on page 10?

 

Design your own symbol for you to use as a superhero. 

Explain your symbol.

Lesson 5 

Watch the Bitesize video on bossy verbs in instructions. 

 

Follow the instructions to make a superhero cuff.

Are there any bossy verbs in the instructions?

Remember to have a go at the handwriting sheets in your pack. Complete it all in one go or a little at a time - the choice is yours!laugh
