Tuesday - Lesson 7 LI To write a list

Your challenge is to do 20 minutes of moving your body or sport.

Here are some ideas of what you could do:

✓ Keepy-uppies with a football

✓ Dance to some music

✓ Sit on a chair and move your feet, then your legs, then your arms and then your hands

✓ Go outside for a fast walk

✓ Hit a ball against a wall

✓ Play bat and ball with someone

✓ Hula hooping – how many can you do in one go?

Make a list of what you did. 

What did you like best ?

Design a superhero pet.

Draw and label the pet. 

Fill in the superhero fact file. 

Wednesday - Lesson 8 LI To identify different types of sentences. 

Remember we have four sentence types. 

Statement  - tell you something 

Questions - ask you something 

Commands - give you orders

Exclamations - show strong feelings. They start with 'what' or 'how'

Thursday – Lesson 9 LI to identify present and past tense.

Complete the past and present sheet.

Friday Lesson 10 – LI To write a story.

Write a short story about your superhero.

What do they do ?

Where do they go?

Who do they see?

What does wrong ?

How do they fix it ?

Remember what you have learnt about past and present tense. Can you use the correct tense in your story ?

Can you use a variety of sentences in your story like you practiced on Wednesday?

Handwriting practise:

Remember to practise your handwriting using the sheets in your pack. Don't forget that you can do it all together...or a little at a time. The choice is yours!
