This week we are continuing with the story Lost and Found in the style of Pie Corbett.
Below are some activities you can use when learning at home. We expect you to complete all pieces.
Learn the story of Lost and Found off by heart. Draw your own story map (as shown below). Retell the story to your adult.
We are going to be authors this week. Oliver Jeffers wrote Lost and Found so we can’t copy his whole story. We are going to change a few things and write our own version. What animal could show up instead of a penguin? Where does that animal live? Where would the boy have to take the animal to get it home?
Story Map - Now draw the story map for your own story. It will be similar to the one you drew for the Lost and Found from last week but remember to draw a different animal and place.
Write your own story based on Lost and Found. Remember to change the characters and setting. Use the T4W model text below to support your writing.
