Lesson 6 – Learn the Teddy bear’s Picnic song (p10). Write an invitation inviting your teddy’s to come and join you at your picnic. Have your own teddy bear’s picnic at home.
Lesson 7 – Page 11. What would you put into your teddy picnic basket? Make a list and write it down on the page. E.g. My first choice would be honey because every teddy bear enjoys honey!
Lesson 8 – Page 12 – Activity – Design your own picnic rug to sit on. Remember to include your teddy bears and the food on your blanket!
Lesson 9 – Page 13 – Read the thank letter to Curtis, Bertha and Gertie. Activity – write a letter back to Curtis and Bertha from the swarm of bees or from the skinny, frightened mice.
Lesson 10 – A postcard to Brian (p14). Brian has wrote a postcard but has not used the correct punctuation including using full stops in the correct places. On a piece of paper re-write the postcard but use the correct punctuation. Don’t forget to use your joined up handwriting.
Lesson 11 – Make your own teddy bear toasts! If you can take pictures and email them to school. I’d love to see your work!
