Maths Lesson 1
LI: To solve percentage missing number problems
Today we are using our knowledge of percentages of amounts and the use of bar models to solve missing number problems.
Watch the video below for further help on using bar models:
Maths Lesson 2
LI: to draw and write algebraic expressions.
Today, we are starting a new unit of work in Maths. We are investigating how to display an algebraic expression through pictorial representation and through written form!
Look through the video below for more information then attempt your worksheet. The sheets are up to your choice based on your understanding of this topic after watching the video.
Maths Lesson 3
LI: To be able to use formulae to solve perimeter and area.
Look through the presentation to understand how to use different algebraic expressions and formulae to discover missing values.
Maths Lesson 4
LI: to be able to use algebraic expressions to solve word problems.
Look through the presentation to understand how and why we use algebra. Today you will apply algebraic formulae to problems to calculate the costs of activities.
Maths Lesson 5
LI: to be able to find the rule in linear sequences.
Today, we are learning about sequence of numbers in linear forms. This is when the numbers in that sequence increase/decrease by the same amount each time.
There is an algebraic expression challenge as well for when you are done!
