LI: To solve decimal, fraction and percentage reasoning problems.
Look through the powerpoint offering examples of reasoning and problem solving questions linked to our topic this week.
Each problem offers a guided method of solving similar problems to those on your worksheet.
- Think back to what we have learnt about equivalents and how to convert from one form to another.
- This can be through multiplying a decimal by 100 to convert it to a percentage.
- Making a fraction's denominator into 100 to show it as parts of 100 or % - remember this method is not always effective when the denominator is not a factor of 100.
- And more!
