LI to be able to use negative numbers in a real life situation
Follow the transactions of the Okoye family below. They will link with a date and payment on the transaction table at the bottom of the page. If the Okoye family have paid somebody else, this is a payment out so should be included in the ‘paid out’ column. If they receive money, it should be added to the ‘paid in’ column for that date. The calculation box is for you to show how that has affected their total amount of money with each transaction. This will leave the Okoye family with a balance – a total amount of money. Record this each time there is a transaction.
