 Lesson 1 LI: To consolidate 2, 4 and 8 times tables In your pack you have a consolidate 2,4 and 8 times-tables worksheet. There is a video below that will help you.   This sheet is just recapping all of the multiplication work you have been doing for the 2, 4 and 8 times tables.  It also looks at the links between these times tables.

 Lesson 2 LI: To explore related calculations for multiplication and division. In your pack you have a related calculations worksheet. There is a video below that will help you.   In this lesson, you are looking at how you can apply your understanding of multiplying by single digits to multiples of 10 and for division related facts too. For example; 3 x 2 = 6                        14 ÷ 2 = 7 3 x 20 = 60                  140 ÷ 2 = 70

 Lesson 3 LI: To multiply 2 digits by 1 digit. In your pack you have a multiply 2 digits by 1 digit worksheet. There is a video below that will help you. https://vimeo.com/486513593 We are starting to look at multiplying using the formal method (column method) You must make sure that you set out your columns correctly so that the numbers in the ones column and the tens columns are all lined up. Remember; We always start in the ones column.

 Lesson 4 LI: To multiply 2 digits by 1 digit. In your pack you have a multiply 2 digits by 1 digit worksheet. There is a video below that will help you.   We are starting to look at multiplying using the formal method (column method) You must make sure that you set out your columns correctly so that the numbers in the ones column and the tens columns are all lined up. Remember; We always start in the ones column. There might be some 10s hiding in the ones column – just like when we are adding we move this sneaky ten to under the 10s column.
