LI: To edit and improve my writing Looking at your work from yesterday’s lesson we are going to look at improving our writing so that we have a detailed and descriptive piece of writing. Use a different coloured pen to edit and improve your work. Task 1 - Sentence openers – Make sure your openers are interesting and varied - try not to keep using the same opener. (think about the fronted adverbials we used last week in our writing) Task 2 – expanded noun phrase – make sure you are describing in detail – try to use to adjectives before the noun to describe so that you are using expanded noun phrases in your writing. |
