School Meals at Forestdale

We want lunchtime at Forestdale to be something children look forward to. Our school meals provide children with a balanced and nutritious lunch, giving them the energy they need to learn, play and enjoy the rest of their day.

| Years 3–6 | £2.50 per day |
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal.
If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and would prefer to bring a packed lunch from home, this is also an option.
Ordering your child's lunch
All school meals must be ordered in advance through the SchoolMoney app.
Please make sure you order your child's meals using the app so that we can ensure the kitchen has the correct numbers each day.
Further information about ordering was sent to families in a letter dated 16 April 2026.

Lunchtime at Forestdale
Lunchtime is an important part of the school day. It is a chance for children to refuel, spend time with friends and develop their independence.
We encourage children to make healthy choices, try new foods and enjoy a positive and sociable lunchtime experience.
