At Forestdale Primary School, we take the privacy and security of our children's, families' and staff's information seriously.

We collect and use personal information to support children's education, wellbeing and safeguarding, to communicate effectively with families and to meet our legal and statutory responsibilities.

We only collect information that we need, use it responsibly and take appropriate steps to keep it safe. Where we need to share information with other organisations, we do so lawfully and only where there is a legitimate and appropriate reason, including where sharing information is necessary to safeguard a child.

We are committed to being open and transparent about how we use personal information and to respecting the rights of children, parents, carers and staff under data protection law.
