At Forestdale we realise the importance of children’s spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.  Children are taught these through a variety of curriculum areas.  Health and Wellbeing, relationships and living in the wider world are taught through PSHE lessons.  The RE syllabus prepares pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities, and experiences of adult life including exploring their own beliefs and those of others.   Interwoven into our whole school curriculum is the importance of the development of SMSC and opportunities are always planned, or circumstances reacted to, in order to ensure the children leave here enriched with these important skills and experiences.
