• URGENT DETAILS OF RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS

  We hope all our families are keeping safe in these strange times.  A letter explaining how the school is going to start it's reopening has been delivered today along with the latest work packs for children.  Here are some of the key points in the letter and a link to a copy of the letter (in the parents menu.

   

  1. The government is directing schools to open F1, F2, Year 1 and Year 6.  These are the only classes reopening as it stands.
  2. If you or a member of your household is shielding (has a letter from the NHS) - do not send your children to school
  3. Year 6 will start back Monday June 1st 
  4. Year 1 will start back Tuesday June 2nd
  5. F2 will start back Thursday June 4th
  6. F1 will start back Monday 8th June
  7. School will be closed WEDNESDAYS until further notice for a deep clean 
  8. Parents will not be allowed on the school site - you will need to collect and drop off your children at the normal gate.  The exception is parents of F1 who will collect and drop off in the F1 playground as normal.
  9. If you need to pay for lunches etc. you will need to phone the school office to make an appointment
  10. Children should not be sent in with hand sanitisers or face masks
  11. Children will be in reduced classes of no more than 15.

• Update on the future reopening of school

  As you might have heard on the news, the government are planning for schools to be open to more children on the 1st June.  We are currently working on our plans to ensure we are able to do this safely  - a letter explaining our plan will be sent out with the next work packs for children next week.

• LATEST NEWS FOLLOWING BORIS JOHNSON'S ANNOUNCEMENT

  Following the announcement from Boris Johnson on Sunday 10th May we would like to confirm to parents that, at this moment in time, nothing has changed with the current situation.

   

  We will not be able to answer questions with regards to any changes to the current situation at this time.  As soon as more information becomes available we will communicate to parents via the website - please keep looking at the news pages to stay up to date.
