Holiday Club at Easter – Year 1 to Year 6

Monday 11th April to Thursday 14th April

    10am to 2pm

    Dear Parents,

If your child receives Free School Meals there is an exciting Holiday Club being held at Forestdale School for four days during the Easter Holiday – it will be run by Premier Education.

Places are limited so it will be on a first come first serve basis.  You will receive an email on Friday which gives you the link to the website to book your child’s place and the code you will need to confirm the booking.  You cannot book this through school.  Lunch will be provided although your child will need a water bottle.

If this is a success, Premier Education will be running similar clubs in the Summer and at Christmas.

  • Welcome back to Parents' Evening!

    Sun 13 Mar 2022

It was lovely to see so many of you at Parents' Evening this week.  We will be rearranging Year 5 and Reception very soon - watch this space!  It was lovely to hear your positive feedback and there were some great responses to "If you could change one thing about the school...." I will be responding to those in the next newsletter - we need to work together to take the school forward.

  • We had a tree-mendous time!

    Wed 02 Mar 2022

The School Councillors and Eco Councillors paid a visit to Hollymoor Park today to support Birmingham Trees for life - planting 10 trees!

It was a very important part of our drive for sustainability and the children absolutely loved it!  Despite the rain and the mud, we managed to plant the trees and the children answered a variety of questions about sustainability and about tree/plant life.  We all enjoyed this great experience!
