Catch Up Premium

For the financial year 2021-2022  £9400

The money received in 2021 was used in the summer for a teacher to support a group of children in Year 2 and for a teacher to carry out some support in KS2.

For the financial year 2022-2023  £9400

Children identified as those most impacted on during the pandemic will be targeted.  Based on attendance and current/expected attainment.  These children will receive teacher support in small groups.  As with all interventions, baseline and exit data will be gathered and shared.

As with all our interventions, we will ensure that baseline and exit data are used in order to assess the effectiveness of the catch up spend.

At Forestdale we have been using the National Tutoring programme to support our children since the second half term.  With our partners Connexus, we have identified those children most in need.
