  All of KS2 walked to Hollymoor Church where Pastor Stephen led a carol concert for the children.  It was a great way to start Advent!

  

• Robin Hood Came to Forestdale ( Oh yes he did!)

  Forestdale had a visit from the pantomime  on Thursday 27th November and all the children enjoyed Robin Hood - they all took part, laughed, sang and gave those typical panto classics - "behind you" and "oh yes it is..."  It was great to see the children all so animated and they will return to do another show next year!  Even some of the staff got to take part!

• Year 3 Go Back To The Stone Age

  Year 3 had an exciting opportunity to enhance their learning in their Stone Age topic in History.

  The children took part in an outdoor learning day and explored Stone Age life through map skills and other activities.

  

• A Taste of France

  Forestdale Primary School held a theme day on Friday 19th September 2025 – A Taste of France. Therefore, to celebrate the day  children and staff came to school  dressed in the colours of the French flag blue, white and red. There was a wide range of activities for the children to join in and opportunities for the children to taste some French cuisine (French baguettes etc …)
