Our last full inspection document can be found below from our inspection on 16th and 17th January 2019. 


The grades that can be awarded are Outstanding (1), Good (2), Requires Improvement (3) or Inadequate (4).


The inspectors found many positive strengths within the school and whilst the overall judgement remains “Requiring improvement” it is pleasing to note that-


* Leadership and management is good.

* Teaching, learning and assessment is good.

* Personal development, behaviour and welfare is good with outstanding elements.

* Early Years is good.

* Outcomes still require improvement.


Ofsted said that “…leaders share a clear sense of direction and a desire to provide the best for pupils, both academically and socially.” and

“The school’s curriculum is carefully thought out… pupils speak enthusiastically about their enjoyment of a range of subjects”

“School leaders have worked hard to ensure that pupils feel safe and are safe.”

"The school’s work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare is outstanding. "

“The quality of teaching is improving rapidly and is now good.”

“Relationships between pupils and staff are strong.”

“Staff provide excellent care for pupils and their families…”

“The behaviour of the pupils is good.”
